**WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR**:
**HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE**:

- Sourcing New Startups_
- Source startups for the innovation platform
- Conduct calls/meetings with relevant investment targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local VCs, universities, corporations, etc.
- Actively network with startup founders at industry events and conferences
- Ventures’ Partner Management_
- Guide corporate clients in their innovation journeys, matching the right startups with current pain points and opportunities.
- Collaborate with corporate executives in deal flow sessions and research activities;
- Curate startup lists for corporate partners based on their technology interests
- Maintain relationships with industry partners
- Develop and deliver presentations on the impact of technologies on different industries.
- Diligence/Investment_
- Source and screen companies relevant to our investment thesis and corporate partners relations;
- Actively monitor portfolio companies and help with key strategic topics;
- Evangelize Plug and Play to all potential network partners including startups, investors, and corporate members within all verticals.
- Identify business development, licensing, and strategic investment opportunities for corporate members within the Plug and Play ecosystem.
- Take part in the full lifecycle of making investments: conducting diligence, making investment recommendations
- Develop investment thesis regarding emerging trends and frontiers within through deep research and market mapping
- Relationship Management_
- Conduct research to identify new markets and industry sectors, conducting in-depth business analysis to identify new competitive opportunities.
- Actively assist portfolio startups in their expansion efforts and oversee the relationship.

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE**:

- Skills_
- Communication - Must possess great communication skills (verbal and written). Must be proficient with public speaking. Must possess exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate with C-Suite executives
- Critical Thinking and Problem Solving - Must be able to use logical reasoning to reach solutions
- Full proficiency in English is mandatory. French, and fluency in at least one additional language would be advantageous.
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships with colleagues, prospects, and industry contacts and contribute towards high-impact results.
- Project Management - the ability to manage several projects with VCs, corporate partners, and startups
- Self-Starter - ability to start projects or plan events with mínimal to no supervision
- Education and Experience_
- Master's Degree, PhD degree is a plus
- 3 years+ of relevant work experience in a fast-paced work environment (such as VC, PE, Tech startup, Consulting, IB), prior VC experience is a big plus
- Experience working in a startup environment

**HIRING PROCESS**
- The following steps will be introductory meetings with Plug and Play’s HR department,
- Then a meeting with future peers (analyst or associate)
- Also part of the hiring process will be an assessment task with a turnaround time of c. 5 days
- Meeting to review and present the case (with Hiring Manager)
