- As an intern at CEA, you will have the opportunity to work in a world-renowned research environment. You will have access to cutting-edge equipment and top-notch research resources to carry out your missions.At LMTS lab, you will work within a team of 15 people.Thanks to the collaboration between CEA-Leti Health Division and CHU Grenoble, we have collected a unique dataset from the clinical trial MEPPAVOP that includes synchronized ECG and photoplethysmography (PPG) signals, providing a valuable resource for studying the relationship between optical signals and blood pressure.In this context, the main objective of this internship is to build a machine learning model to estimate the blood pressure from PPG signals. To achieve this, the intern will be expected to:
- Understand the cardiovascular notions around blood pressure monitoring,
- Get familiar with the scientific library (MATLAB / Python) currently used in the team for data formatting and processing,
- Build machine learning and neural network models to estimate blood pressure from existing PPG features,
- Evaluate the environmental impact of such models, in terms of computing power and data storage.
