**Job Information**: - Responsible for maintaining and improvement of product quality where suppliers have difficulty to meet set specifications and targets. - Responsibility for supplier defect management process. **Role & Responsibility**: **Supplier**: - Ensure that vendor reviews, audits and certification are efficiently performed - Administration of supplier defect reporting from containment, Cause identification, corrective action to recovery - Capacity to translate a production non conformity into technical word per drawing and supplier need - Continuous improvement of supplier capabilities, root cause analysis and mistake proofing **Problem solving**: - Investigate manufacturing/product identified risks and make recommendations to resolve and/or correct such problems - Conduct implementation of appropriate correcting actions where necessary - To get 8D tool as an explicit tool (this is an mandatory expectation for SQ mission) **Operation**: - Advanced to knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electronic machine systems - Provides support for production quality technicians and engineers with all supplier related issues - Maintains the administration of supplier defects - Support operation and service with emergency issues related to poor supplier quality - Capacity to establish a measurement plan with appropriate tool **Job Requirement**: - Education Required: Quality - Secondary School - Allow Equivalent - Certificate: Green Belt appreciated - Experience Required: 2>5 years - Travel Required: One Country) - Knowledge of quality tools - Knowledge of parts validation process (PPAP, APQP) - Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing - French and English - Ability to use MS Office - Communication and team working skills - Rigor, Spirit of openness, Team spirit, Meeting facilitation, Persuasiveness **Others**: **Difficulties & area of focus when carrying out job (position)**: - Ability to work on a team project basis - Provide quality recommendations to impact on quality and cost of preliminary engineering designs
