As an innovation booster, **P&C Solutions enables deals and provides services **, which will ultimately enhance relationships with (end-)clients and strengthen SGPC positioning in the value chain. W ithin P&C Solutions, t he **R **etrocession Department **is an integral part of the underwriting strategy of SCOR and ensures the protection of SCOR’s capital while providing underwriters with sufficient capacity.

Cat retrocession is by far the most important Retrocession program for SCOR given the important protection it provides to the group.

Within the Retrocession department, you will be working on the modelling of Natural Catastrophe to optimize the retrocession Cat structure and improve the retrocession Cat modelling process by automating and industrializing the tested scenario and key metrics calculation.

U nder the supervision of the Retrocession Cat modeler, your key responsibilities will be to:

- Model SCOR’s Nat Cat portfolio and calculate key metrics to support SCOR’s top management decision
- Develop tools enabling the retrocession structure optimization. This implies programming skills to understand and optimize the calculation/coding of the existing Cat program.
- Explore how to better utilize SCOR Cat information to improve reporting and analytics.
- Education: Student in Master’s degree in a scientific field, e.g. mathematics, actuarial science
- Knowledge in Reinsurance is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (excel, word, powerpoint, etc.)
- Programming skills: Python, SAS, VBA, SQL
