As a centerpiece of Entalpic, you will be responsible for our cloud infrastructure and automation, from computational resources for AI research, to data storage and management. You will be embedded in the core of the team, interacting and developing with our machine learning scientists and engineers. **Reporting Line & localization**: You will report to the CTO of Entalpic and will be located in our Paris offices. **Role & responsibilities**: This position directly supports the company’s mission by ensuring robust, scalable, and efficient management of computational resources and data systems. The responsibilities include: **Infrastructure Design and Implementation**: Develop and deploy scalable cloud infrastructure that supports high-performance computing for AI research and atomic simulations. This involves selecting the right mix of cloud services to meet the computational demands of the project. **Data Management**: Design and implement systems for efficient data storage, retrieval, and organization to handle large datasets crucial for machine learning models and chemical research. This includes facilitating secure and IP-preserving data transfers from/to clients and collaborators. **Performance Optimization**: Continuously monitor, analyze, and optimize the performance of the cloud infrastructure and data processes to reduce costs, energy and improve efficiency. **Security, Recov**ery and Backup**: Develop and maintain robust security approach including disaster recovery plans and backup systems to ensure data integrity and availability. **Documentation and Training**: Create comprehensive documentation for the cloud infrastructure and data management systems. Provide training and guidance to other team members to help them effectively utilize the technological resources. **Collaboration and Support**: Work closely with machine learning and chemical scientists to understand their computational and data needs.
