Associate Vice President- Esg Data Specialist

The Data Solutions operating unit is looking for an AVP ESG Data Specialist to drive the development and maintenance of the ESG data supporting ESG and Climate Product suits. You will serve as a primary contact to relevant parties to define, maintain and ensure consistency of ESG data supporting Moody’s ESG solutions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate with necessary stakeholders to provide data definitions aligned with regulations
- Assist with integration of ESG & Climate data domains in Collibra
- Lead data consistency and quality initiatives identifying data quality enhancement opportunities and recommendations to mitigate quality issues.
- Assist with data extraction to create or update bespoke files for internal processes or requests
- Participate in data ingestion or delivery process, including understanding the approach, constraints and process, and defining any controls required for delivery

LI-LR1
- Graduate/second-level degree in a related discipline (e.g. data analyst, data scientist, etc)
- + 7 years of experience contributing to data governance, data definition and quality enhancement
- Prior experience as an ESG specialist or similar financial services role with track record of delivering a high quality of content, insight and customer service
- Project management skills and ability to coordinate and gather the different necessary information/inputs coming from the different business units
- Strong interest in ESG / SRI and understanding of the research produced by the different teams
- Excellent English language skills. Any additional languages are a plus.
- Good communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Microsoft Excel expertise, with ability to conduct volatility tests on the different database and support matchings
- Experience in database usage and data flow management
- Good organisation skills, ability to manage different projects at the same time
