Amazon is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to support a Customer Fulfillment activitity (CF) within our French Operations Finance team in France.
**Skills/Experience**:
- Demonstrable relevant finance/accounting experience
- Ability to think both analytically and strategically - to go beyond the numbers and to think logically about underlying business issues.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis and problem solving
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads
- Experience in logistics would be helpful. Experience in working in a fast-paced growth environment is essential.
- Advanced Excel user
- Good communication skills working with multiple peer groups and levels of management
Key job responsibilities
- Business partnering with Senior Ops, Senior Finance Management to drive business performance/productivity and optimize costs
- Partnering with operational teams to influence financial and operational productivity and mitigate risks
- Responsible for financial controlling and cost-out initiatives
- Monitoring Key Pillars KPI within CF organization (Productivity, Supply Chain, Labor, Capex)
- Supporting the decision making process with expertise and analysis
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, PBI, and/or Cognos)
