**Investment Banking overview**:
Nomura’s Investment Banking Division provides advisory and capital-raising solutions to corporations, financial institutions, governments and public-sector organisations around the world. In EMEA, we operate across targeted industry sectors and in most major European countries to deliver strategic advice to clients wishing to acquire, combine or sell businesses or looking for financing and risk management solutions.

Internships are a great opportunity to experience first-hand the possibilities of a career in banking. It is your chance to get a feel for our culture, create new networks and gain valuable on-the-job training. Internships are also the perfect preparation for a subsequent full time role. Nomura will extend full time offers to strong performers.

**What’s your role?**

Investment Banking interns are placed into the France coverage team for 6 month internships.

Nomura’s France coverage team is an experienced team of bankers with strong capabilities in the execution of M&A mandates in France. The team is well recognised notably on the infrastructure, FIG and Healthcare sectors. You will have the opportunity to work on transactions in a variety of sectors including energy, since Nomura's recent GreenTech acquisition.

As an intern in the team, you will:

- Be part of a small and successful team with direct exposure to senior bankers
- Have key responsibilities in live transactions (M&A, strategic advisory)
- An Integral role in origination/marketing activities
- Gain experience in Sector coverage
- Data analysis for pitch book and discussion materials preparation
- Complete Financial Modelling and valuation
