Operations Controller

Our operating division “Connected Home” is one of the leaders on wide range of solutions to Pay -TV operators and network service providers for the delivery of digital entertainment, data, voice, and smart home services though the design and supply of products such as set-top boxes, gateways and managed wireless tablets. For this business division, we are looking to hire a “**Operations Controller**". This position is located in Paris, France. **Job Description**: **ROLE** The Connected Home Business Division is delivering over 30 million units per year, for close to 2 billion of Revenue. Part of this activity the exposure to logistic, Inventory and cash volatility is very sensitive and requires a strong focus to ensure Technicolor financial control. In this context, the Operations Controller will be in charge of Inventory controlling end-to-end (from SAP to long-term forecast), Cash Out controlling (payment plan, payment execution, payment forecast), business partnering with Operations team and will act as financial business owner of the tools such as SAP and Kinaxis Scope is worldwide with more than 15 entities Strong ability to work in a multicultural environment and a excellent English command is required. **RESPONSIBILITIES** The position includes: - ** Inventory Controlling** - Monitor Inventory level of the Division and raise early flag of inventory impact on WorkingCap - Build Inventory Forecast with Operations team for all dimensions (Key Component, Finish Good, In Transit, Raw Mat ) in line with Sales / purchases forecast - Analyze and report Actuals Inventory variance with budget, forecast and previous months - Build model on Inventory evolution based on various complex parameter and impact on Cash of the Company - ** Cash Controlling** - In charge of the overall Cash Out of the division and represent the division in any P2P project - Ensure P2P process working efficiently across the Division and coordination on payment to supplier with GBS and Sourcing - Forecast cash out for all entities of the division on short / mid and long term - Reporting and analyzing actual, forecast and any variance - Support Sourcing in any cash related action with Supplier - Consolidation full Cash view of the division (Cash out directly managed and Cash In indirect) - ** Business Partnering** - Provide financial support and business to Operations Team (Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Logistic) - Responsible to validate purchase plan at component level with various stakeholder - Coordination and animation of the weekly cycle with Operations/ Sourcing / Finance to control Inventory / Cash - ** Tool / Business Process Owner SAP** - Responsible for Finance support of the Kinaxis Supply Chain tool (data structure, validation of modeling ) - Finance SAP BPO related to Inventory and logistic and strong focus on documenting processes between Finance and Supply Chain - Work very closely with Reporting Factory to digitalize Inventory reporting and increase analytics on this key topic **Qualifications**: - 3 years minimum of finance experience - Excel good knowledge and Data-driven / tool-oriented mindset - Experience with SAP and in structuring process around SAP - First experience with BI (PowerBi / Tableau / Qlickview ) is preferred - This role requires solid interpersonal, communication skills - Excellent organizational, analytical, written and verbal communication - Excellent English is required
