Our aim is to successfully design and test a cost-effective and reusable mini-launch vehicle by 2026. **Mission** Inside MaiaSpace development teams you will join the Embedded Software Team. Within your multidisciplinary team you will design and develop development tools to improve MaiaSpace Software in the Loop (SIL) and Processor in the Loop (PIL) environments. In this perimeter your mission will include: - Participate to the definition, conception and making of an automated PIL platform: - This includes working hands-on with On-Board computers and other avionics equipment's - Participate to the development of embedded software dev. tools: - Real-time IPC (Inter-process communication) inspector - Other avionics monitoring tools **Background and Skills requirements** - **_ Technical skills:_** C language and Makefile based toolchain proficiency, Git versioning, UNIX-based software development, Python language proficiency. > FPGA and Digital electronic knowledge is also highly recommended. - **_ Soft skills:_**_ _**Team spirit, sharing and solidarity. Pragmatism, rigor and precision. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. - **_ Communication Skills:_** written and verbal communication skills to document analysis and communicate technical results effectively. - **_ Language:_** English level sufficient to read and write technical documentation, to perform oral technical presentation and to interact on technical topics - **_ School grade:_** Final year of an embedded-system engineering degree or equivalent **Working at MaiaSpace** You will be joining a friendly multi-disciplinary team, comprised of multi-skilled people, following Agile and Scrum methodologies. This means that your role and responsibility may evolve over time with varied assignments and challenges depending on priorities and competences.
