France is a key focus market with a large untapped potential in the solar rooftop market. There are strong market drivers which will create a solid and financeable business model for large-scale rooftop projects in the coming years. The French team has been successful to get a foot in the door in France and is now experiencing a rapid build-up of the team. Our French head office is located in Paris. The team is small, entrepreneurial and ambitious.

**The Role**:
In the French development team, you will work closely with professionals from different disciplines such as project management, business development and legal.

The team develops all the different solutions Sunrock has to offer in France and ensures that the projects are taken from design to realization. They also work on our solar projects as well as developing new propositions.

You are part of the Investment Structuring and Management team, which consists of 6 colleagues in the Netherlands and Germany. The team is responsible for developing new business models, structuring commercial deals, ensuring bankability on the project level, building and maintaining financial models, and monitoring ongoing projects.

Craft Business Success**: You won't just be analyzing spreadsheets; you'll build compelling business cases for our renewable projects, ranging from PV to storage, and for solutions that haven't hit the market yet. You will be providing a solid foundation for their success on the market.
- ** Be the Pioneer**: You'll collaborate on the development of Sunrock's latest ventures, like solar carports, EV charging, and energy management systems. Using your financial acumen to guide these initiatives from concept to reality.
- ** Collaborate Across Disciplines**: Work in a team where your finance and commercial acumen blends with tech and innovation, leveraging your insights to build financial models and contribute to the development of cutting-edge renewable energy projects.

- ** Sell The Dream**:Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including our investment committee and external financiers, to secure support and funding for your projects. Based on a comprehensive analysis of the investment, including potential risks, you're pitching to our investment committee and external partners, turning your visions into funded realities

**What You Bring To The Table**:

- A master’s degree and minimum 4 years of experience in investment banking, project finance, infrastructure development, the energy sector or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills to make connections between financial figures and project content with strong financial modelling and analysis capabilities.
- A good understanding of legal points from a financing point of view.
- Proven experience or strong interest in the energy sector.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex financial concepts, successfully simplifying them and providing clear decision-making materials to management
- An entrepreneurial and forward-thinking mindset, actively challenging the status quo.
- Proficiency in English, with strong communication skills. **Proficiency in** **French is highly advantageous.**
