**THE ROLE**:
In contact with Line Managers, Fleet Deployment, Operation Departments on one hand and ShipOwners / Shipborkers on the other hand, the fixing desk is in charge of sourcing tonnage, negociating and monitoring implementations of contractual terms.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**As part of fixing desk, your commitments are**:
Collect,understand and frame needs and constraints from Lines within CMA CGM Group.
Closely monitor Chartering and Sale and purchase market to guide on terms, give visibility and grab opportunities.
Negotiate chartering and S&P contractual terms, make sure documentation is correctly issued, timely signed and made available on internal network.
Control implementation of contractual terms, deal with daily events involving contractual interpretation.
**PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS**:
Postgraduate degree in Maritme Law, International Trade, Transport or Logistics.
Ideally a first professional experience in shipping or logistics sector.
Perectly fluent in English (both writing and speaking).
Open, talkative and pro-active.
Good interpersonal skills, sense of anticipation, responsiveness and analytical skills will enable you to succeed in your daily tasks.
