**Job Purpose**:
An EDI Specialist provides solutions to seamlessly implement transactions through all stages of fulfillment between customers, warehouses, shippers, 3PL and other business partners. They also configure and deploy secure point-to-point EDI capabilities to support various communication protocols (e.g. AS2, SFTP, FTPS, Network providers or VAN).

**Responsibilites and Tasks**:

- Collaborate as part of a team to analyze, plan, develop and test transactions to be implemented on Murata's adapted technologies
- Execute implementations following to agreed standards and guidelines
- Configure connections between Murata and trading partners
- Set up and test system to fulfill customer requirements
- Thoroughly collect information and document customer setups; create functional and technical specifications when needed
- Support existing software functionalities; investigate, analyze and correct identified defects within established SLAs
- Work on incidents reported by customers, both internal and external. Analyze, solve and/or propose solutions to close the incidents
- Perform system monitoring and coordinate scheduled maintenance with providers and trading partners

**Your profile**:

- Completed apprenticeship or university degree with a focus on information technology
- First professional experience in a related field (EDI/IT Helpdesk support)
- Good understanding of databases and query language (SQL)
- Analytical thinking
- Knowledge in Business Integration software is a plus (Seeburger BIS6)
- Knowledge in ERP systems is a plus
- Effective communication skills
- Team-oriented behavior
- Fluent English in speaking and writing
