**Job Description Summary**: The Imaging and Guiding Solutions (IGS) Marketing leader is a pragmatic leader responsible for optimizing commercial performance though development and execution of marketing and launch plans in coordination with Regional Product Marketing; and by aligning market insights with technology trends to assist Product Management in portfolio road mapping, product planning, product positioning and pricing. This position is a key contributor to the SBU strategy, identifies and develops opportunities for growth and market share gain; and leads the global effort to create a strong network of global KOLs, show sites and collaborations. This position facilitates global and cross-regional marketing support, communication and insights. The IGS Marketing leader manage the marketing team and is a key member of the IGS leadership team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Utilizing best marketing practices and skills to develop a global marketing plan to grow global orders and share. Ensures regional marketing plans are aligned with the global marketing plan and collaborates with regional marketing on selecting the appropriate marketing mix.
- Performing clinical and industry trend analysis, market share and competitive analysis, and win/loss tracking to identify product and commercial strategies for growth.
- Orchestrating research to assess market and customer environments and to discover unmet needs, buying cycles and personas. Identifying customers’ clinical and economic needs, values and desired benefits.
- Quantifying and prioritizing market opportunity.
- Working with Region, Product Management, Engineering and Global Design to provide input to innovation and the product development roadmap and to develop, test and prototype new product ideas.
- Working with Region to perform installed base analysis in order to define programs needed to improve customer loyalty, share of wallet and retention and with Product Mgt to include these programs on product roadmaps.
- Building and executing global product launch plan, including value proposition, segmentation / positioning, target pricing, awareness & advocacy strategies, channel strategy and sales enablement (in coordination with Regional Product Marketing).
- Developing programs that improve the customer experience of the installed base in support of installed base retention.
- Collaborating with Advertising & Promotion and Communications to develop a communications plan in support of the marketing objective Defining brand, value proposition(s), and competitive positioning claims roadmap for new and existing products
- Hiring, directly supervising, compensating and developing effectively a team of professional product marketers
- Identifying budget requirements to insure proper execution.

**Qualifications / Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
- Significant experience in marketing, product marketing or related field
- Prior experience in a leadership role with direct reports
- Leadership skills to lead and/or influence teams and shape/lead growth vision and marketing
- strategy
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Ability to motivate and lead a team of reports
- Strong analytical and process skills

**Desired Characteristics**:

- Pragmatic, focused on real impact
- MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
- 15+ years’ experience in marketing, product marketing or related field
- Deep marketing expertise in market & customer insights, product commercialization and
- branding
- Healthcare product/industry acumen
- Experience in Interventional industry/products, market and product portfolio
- Prior experience in both global and region product marketing
- Experience managing a global brand
- Innovation - develop new ideas through collaboration and execute on creative ideas
- Team oriented leadership - ability to motivate and work well with diverse, global and cross functional teams
- Influencing skills - ability to motivate individuals and demonstrate organizational influence
- Fluent in French and in English, other languages a plus
