**Job Overview**:
Are you passionate about how the intersection of hardware and software will unlock the potential for further gains in AI? In this role within the IoT Line of Business you will be leading the tooling strategy and collaborating with teams across Arm and with lead partners to create a comprehensive set of software and tools that brings AI inference to the edge.

Arm has revolutionised multiple industries and is now defining the future of AI on edge computing. The IoT Line of Business is rapidly moving inference from being a cloud centric compute, to a distributed local computing experience with all the benefits of reduced latency, privacy and cost this change will deliver.

**Responsibilities**:

- Define the strategy for platform and ML tooling to support Arm’s IoT products and IP portfolio
- Collaborate with the Arm developer ecosystem and customers to understand the tools and frameworks required to deploy their workloads
- Work across product and engineering teams to ensure that required tools, frameworks and libraries are delivered to provide support for key customers on our solutions
- Manage partnerships with strategic third-party vendors to incorporate and optimize their products on the Arm architecture

**Required Skills and Experience**:

- Real-world software development experience on Linux based systems
- Experience as a software architect or lead developer for one or more products
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build consensus across product and engineering teams

**Nice To Have Skills and Experience**:

- Practical development experience working with the Arm architecture
- Prior experience developing build tools and compilers
