**Post description**
The Marine Data Support Engineer oversees operational data and documentation throughout the whole life of a project. Involved in an early stage of the project, he supports the Route Engineer in charge in term of cable route review and operational advice. He ensures the delivery of operational data to the off-shore Survey Team in anticipation of cable operations and the follow-up of the post-operations data to be provided by the vessels Teams afterwards.

Liaising with the Projects Teams, he monitors the vessels planning to ensure the deliveries are done in due time.

Its strategic position ensures he has many contacts both in the back office and with the on-board teams. He ensures that the procedures in place related to cable data are properly followed and will amend or create new ones if relevant.

He also supports the project and the offshore team by producing marine operational documents in different types of geographic data.

At the completion of the operational stage, he will ensure that the documentation package (data, documentations and/or reports) delivered by the vessel is fully compliant with requirements; manages necessary updates or corrections to be done by the offshore team and if needed, be in position to make himself the updates or corrections. He also compiles the final operational written report from the documentation provided by the vessel.

The allocated tasks include, but are not limited to:

- QC process of the operational documentation between ASN Marine Office and vessels
- Perform route review at the pre-installation stages.
- Deliver in due time the proper operational documentation and reporting requirements to the vessels
- Support the survey Team during the operations.
- Follow-up of the daily progress of operations, the associated data reception; and ensure the data formatting is compliant with standards for final report Requirements.

Support the creation and the delivery of the as-laid documentation (As-laid Charts, Written Report.) to ASN or final customer.

**Wanted profil**
- Very good English level (work in a multicultural environment with English as main working language)
- Good Knowledge of Word, Excel and Adobe
- Experience with CAD and GIS software
- Good communication skills (work in project mode)
- Dynamic, independent and solution oriented
- Experience in Marine activity or cable installation is a plus.
- Good capacity to understand technical/industrial operations.
