**Job Purpose**:To attract and retain clients and revenues in the territories allocated to the individual for coverage, through representation of all investment products and strategies offered by BNY Mellon Investment Management companies as appropriate to client requirements.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Identify and cultivate in France prospects and clients by leading and participating in client visits and calls, managing execution of client activity and communicating with clients in the allocated Institutional segment as appropriate, in line with the wider sales management team
- Take responsibility for agreed institutional sales budget
- Building the promotion of our strategies through the clients segment o f Insurers, Pensions, corporates, consultants, foundations and family offices.
- Update clients on existing and forthcoming new products and their merits
- Work with and co-ordinate internal resources to ensure production of materials for service and building prospects are in line with demand and consistent across markets
- Follow up with clients after meetings and conference calls
- Identify opportunities for deepening existing client relationships in the local market (e.g. further investment and cross-sell opportunities with other LOBs)
- Prepare bespoke presentations for meetings, conference call, pitches
- Update senior management on opportunities and assets at risk where required
- Identify and communicate client requirements and ensure process shortfalls are acted upon quickly and effectively
- Maintain client segmentation and product alignment plans and database locally
- Identify areas for process
- and client service improvements on an ongoing basis
- Work collaboratively with entire team - sales, product management, and shared services - to accomplish revenue and operational goals
- Be available for business trips within Italy and outside the region where necessary
- Ensure all client activity is recorded in salesforce

**Technical Skills, Knowledge, Systems Knowledge**
- Proved knowledge and experience of Institutional segment: Insurance companies, Pension Schemes, Foundations, Consultants, Family Offices. Knowledge of key decision makers of all the above mentioned target investors; strong and well established relationships with them from previous experiences. Experience in sub-advisory mandates and preferably in private markets.
- Min 10 years’ experience in the French asset management industry, better if spent on the institutional segment
- Establishing solid client relationships at a senior level
- Thorough knowledge of BNY Mellon’s Financial products
- Excellent knowledge of asset management industry
- Ongoing knowledge of industry issues, developments and opportunities
**Academic/Professional Qualifications**
- Graduate level education or equivalent, preferable in economics
