**Position**: IT Infrastructure Engineer level 1
- **Working Hours**:Full-Time - Monday to Friday, Standard Business Hours
- **Start Date**: As soon as possible
- **Employment Type**: Fixed Term Contract
- **Preferred Contract**: B2B with Sharp Brains Limited (UK) - you should be eligible to contract/file your taxes yourself. (As Self Employed / Contractor or through an Umbrella company)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design, implement, and maintain computer networks that meet the organization's needs for performance, security, and scalability
- Lead a team of network engineers and provide technical guidance and support
- Collaborate with other departments to support business initiatives and address network-related issues
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problems as they arise
- Stay up-to-date on the latest networking technologies and trends
- Participate in on-call support rotation as needed for network emergencies

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering, specifically in network design and implementation
- Experience with Cisco and Palo Alto NGFW firewalls
- Proficiency with network devices such as routers, switches, and proxies
- Strong knowledge of networking technologies and protocols, including ACLs, VTP, STP, VLANs, Subnetting, DNS, and DHCP
- Experience working in the OT domain
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Cisco, Juniper, Nexus certifications a plus

**Language Skills**:

- Proficiency in speaking English
- Local language proficiency at least C1 level or native proficiency
