**Company**: Qualcomm France S.A.R.L. **Job Area**: Engineering Group, Engineering Group > ASICS Engineering **General Summary**: We are looking for a Software Engineer for our Front-End CAD Team in Grenoble. You will join the Global SoC organization at Qualcomm to develop software tools that enable next-generation design flows. **Key responsibilities will include**: - Develop software for design automation and reference flows - Execute and deliver project goals in a timely manner - Resolve issues in all phases of development to assure smooth project execution - Collaborate with other members of the development team to ensure code quality - Identify and suggest improvements to existing working methodology, QA process, compilation environment, documentation **Minimum Qualifications**: - Provide tool support and issue debugging services to design teams - Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or computer science - 3+ years’ experience with Python programming language**Preferred Qualifications**: - Background in software engineering (background in EDA is a plus) - Experience with Git SCM, strong Linux skills - Excellent problem solving and debugging skills - Knowledge of RTL (Verilog, System Verilog) and timing constraints is a plus - Ability to work in a geographically distributed development environment - Good communication skills and personal skills in a multi-disciplinary, fast-paced engineering environment **Minimum Qualifications**: - Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
