**Who are we looking for?**:
**This position can be based on home-office in any of the following countries; France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Benelux.**

We now have an opportunity for a Strategic Account Manager to join our team in Europe. In this role, you will be working for MAES, a business unit of Element Solutions Inc (NYSE: ESI). Element Solutions Inc is a leading specialty chemicals company whose businesses supply a broad range of solutions that enhance the products people use every day.

In this key role you will be responsible for building strong, long-term, value-adding relationships with our most important customers.

Your focus will be on a select group of high value, high potential accounts, aligning priorities, resources, and collaboration to support their strategies and success while driving meaningful growth for ESI.

**What will you be doing?**:
As a Strategic Account Manager, your main responsibilities will cover the following areas:

- You’ll be directly responsible for achieving year-over-year revenue and margin growth targets, as well as meeting strategic account development goals and objectives for a small number of highly important customers (possibly even just one).
- You’ll be fully dedicated to and hyper-focused on your assigned accounts. You act as the orchestra conductor, aligning and coordinating the resources required (both internally and externally) to achieve our mutual strategies and successes.
- You serve as our primary face and voice to the customer. Your mission is to help us earn trusted-advisor status by supporting the customer in meeting their strategic initiatives through the effective use of our products and services.
- You will lead the development of, and be accountable for, the goals, objectives, and milestones of a strategic account plan. You align our business, technologies, resources, and capabilities with the customer’s strategies to maximize our mutual opportunities for growth and success.

**Who are You?**:
We are seeking a Strategic Account Manager with:

- 5+ years of experience managing large, complex, multinational accounts.
- Proven ability to develop and execute multi-year strategic account plans.
- Strong business acumen, including negotiation, value quantification, and P&L understanding.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills at all organizational levels.
- Experience influencing and coordinating cross-functional teams globally.
- Proficient English (written and verbal) and a bachelor’s degree (graduate degree a plus).
- Comfort with long sales cycles (9-18 months) and structured account planning (2-5 years).
- Proficiency in speaking French would also be a significant benefit
