Engineering Manager

**Ok, sounds promising. What will I be doing?**:
We're looking for an Engineering Manager with a strong technical background and a hands-on approach to lead one of our engineering teams. You will be responsible for collaborating with Product, Design, and Carbon/ESG Experts to help build our SaaS tool that allows companies to measure and track their Carbon and ESG data, set reduction goals and report on progress towards a cleaner future.

To be more specific, this includes:
**1. Driving Innovation**

Lead the development of new features for our core product, prioritizing security, reliability, and performance enhancements. Collaborate with the engineering team to design and architect new systems, products, and features. Champion modern agile software development practices to continuously improve engineering and organizational standards.

**2. Mentoring Excellence**

Manage and mentor a dedicated group of engineers through effective hiring, coaching, and hands-on career development. Foster a collaborative engineering culture aligned with our company values.

**3. Stakeholder Engagement**

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership to build a cutting-edge carbon management platform. Set and manage expectations with other engineering teams, senior management, and stakeholders.

**2. Hands-On Approach**

Despite managerial responsibilities, actively engage in coding activities to stay connected with the technical aspects of the project.

**Qualifications**
- 2+ years of experience in management of software engineers
- 5+ years of technical industry experience
- Demonstrating that your work had significant impact on product and business
- Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities

**Qualities**
- Experience leading a distributed team to deliver features and manage production SaaS products
- Passion for developing and growing people with a track record of leading, mentoring, and coaching software engineers
- Knowledgeable and passionate about software development, ideally with experience in developing and scaling SaaS products
- Solid experience working in an agile development environment
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and autonomous
- Possesses all-round communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively
- Demonstrates care for the mission of creating a better future for all
