**Trade Capture Specialist - Europe Rates**
**Paris**

As a Barclays Trade Capture Specialist this is an exciting opportunity where you will be part of the newly formed team in Paris, focused on Rates (Cash and Derivatives). Also, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to manage a newly built team, which will help the EEA based Rates Sales & Trading teams, for all Rates products. You will work closely with other teams to ensure timely resolution to all queries and escalate to management where necessary.

**What will you be doing?**:

- Asserting that the trading books in scope remain in line with agreed tolerance levels and that market risk is managed to the agreed operating model thresholds
- Working closely with Front Office teams, Macro Trade Capture Utility senior management, IB Middle Office and Operations, to resolve issues
- Ensuring there are suitable control processes around trade booking, verification, and reconciliation, facilitating the ambition of the desk to trade new and exciting products
- Managing and developing a newly built team
- Participating in European Government Bond auctions as an agent for House and clients
- Performing specification and testing of improvements for all systems and processes, whilst upholding the controls and procedures for the team
- Seeking cross-training opportunities for on all functions performed within the team and across the wider department

**What we’re looking for**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with fluency in English and French
- Knowledge of Markets (FX, Interest Rate Derivatives, Interest Rate Options, Fixed Income, and/or Structured Notes)
- Understanding of the full lifecycle of a trade and its associated risks to the firm and clients
- Experience of managing and developing a team

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- In depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel and VBA
- Experience gained in high volume House and client service environment
