**AXA Corporate Center’s main missions are to**:

- Steer the entities in order to ensure the coherence of the strategies, the consistency of the commercial approaches as well as the optimization of the risks and results.
- Defining and coordinating Group policies, different transversal projects and standards, identifying and sharing best practices.
- Supporting the entities in order to help them to grow, to develop their offer, their management and steering standards as well as their risk management.

The head office of AXA Group (GIE AXA), based in La Défense, gathers the Group's corporate activities. It coordinates the various entities according to the Group's strategy and is responsible for managing international projects. The headquarters is composed with over 1000 employees and is distinguished by its strong international culture (45 nationalities).

**Group Performance Management Department**:
Group Performance Management Department controlling team is based in Paris and Hong Kong. The team is composed of c.15 international executives with a strong background in finance (M&A, actuaries) and/or in strategy (consulting or other), organized in geographic areas (AXA France / AXA XL / AXA IM, Europe, Asia, and International New Markets).

GPM is a Group finance department which offers a unique and centralized point of contact for all business performance monitoring matters. The team is working in close collaboration with entities’ top Management (CFOs, Heads of Controlling) and Group central functions (Operations, HR and technical teams) to feed the MC and the CFO with accurate information.

Its main duty is to steer financial and strategic dialogues with entities and provide the Management Committee with analysis. Reporting to the Management Committee and the CFO are conducted on a monthly basis and complement the financial and strategic cycle (budget, forecast 1 & 2, closing and the Strategic plan). BSID is also in charge of data projects (change in tools, process automation).

**Role and Responsibilities**:
GPM is looking for an intern to join one of the geographic areas. The mission of the GPM intern is to assist the team on all tasks. In particular, the GPM intern will be expected to:

- Support the team in the preparation of financial analysis for monthly reporting and forecasting exercise, notably by preparing appropriate dashboard. The intern will notably help improve the efficiency of the process through revamp of dashboards and automation.
- Help build new reporting / analysis tools for transversal topics to be monitored by the team.
- Support the team in providing management presentations and regular update on business performance.
- Support the team in discussing with entities about performance reports and forecasts.
- Participate in ad-hoc analysis on business / financial topics including benchmark with external competitors, analysis of market trends, review of specific strategies.

**Votre profil**:
**Education**: Business or Engineering school or master’s in finance or strategy

**Experience**: Work experience in Financial Services would be preferable

**Expected skills to successfully achieve the internship**:

- Fluent in English
- Motivation to learn about new topics, proactive and problem-solving mindset
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Basic knowledge of VBA would be preferable.
- Understanding of finance and reporting principles would be preferable
- Ability to organise, analyse and summarise in a clear way
