**The Opportunity**:
As the Brand Lead for Ophthalmology at Astellas, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of an innovative product launch within the French market. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and corporate values.

This position requires a balance of strategic oversight and hands-on execution to achieve sales targets and enhance market presence. With a strong focus on compliance, legal, and regulatory standards, you will cultivate a patient-focused and customer-centric culture within the organization.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that policies, procedures, and infrastructure for compliance, legal, and regulatory are in place to support French marketing execution.
- Cultivate collaboration and accountability across key cross-functional teams to deliver on all elements of the plan in a way that aligns with brand strategy and the corporate values/culture.
- Breed a culture of patient-focus and customer-centricity throughout the organization.
- Orchestrate the team's activities on a strategic and tactical level with the goal of achieving our sales targets and strengthening our market presence.
- Oversee the launch of an innovative product, including the creation of the local marketing and communication plan with investment planning and forecasting.
- Lead and coordinate the Core Brand Team (Marketing, Medical, Sales, OPEX, Market Access) in close collaboration with other relevant departments.

**Essential Knowledge & Experience**:

- Track record of building plans and rallying the cross-functional organization around those plans, demonstrating accountability and a sense of urgency.
- Ability to motivate, develop, and influence others, exuding executive presence.
- An entrepreneurial spirit coupled with the drive to embrace innovation and develop creative but well-reasoned solutions to business challenges.
- Proven ability to develop productive relationships with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Motivation to be a part of envisioning and building the infrastructure, systems, and tactics to ensure launch success.

**Preferred Experience**:

- Proven brand lead experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Recent product launch experience preferred.
- Experience in ophthalmology.
- Ability to work cross-functionally.
- Resourceful, decisive, and proactive approach to managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.

**Education**:

- Master’s degree, or equivalent
