**Role Overview**
We are hiring an off-cycle intern to join our Paris office, joining the Client Solutions team for a 6 month internship. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a leading Financial Services business in Paris.
**Role Responsibilities**:
- Promote TP ICAP
- Provide complete support to the business for the smooth running of the desk
- Assistance in administration tasks
- Identify trade opportunities and calculate strategies
- Provide input on various projects for brokers and traders
- Provide trade details to brokers and traders on a daily basis
- Monitor markets and follow financial news and developments
- Fulfil additional / ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business
- Network and build relationships amongst not only the desk, but the wider business
- Build an understanding of the various asset classes and products across TP ICAP
**Experience / Competences**:
Essential
- Clear communication skills - confident but with humility
- Good networking skills and emotional intelligence to build effective relationships
- Strong work ethic with a positive 'can-do' attitude and resilience
- Drive and ambition to learn and thrive in this fast-paced, high energy business
- Numerical strength, analytical thinking with an aptitude for technology
- Commercial awareness and business acumen
Desired
- Able to demonstrate a clear interest for a role in Financial Services and this area
- Prior internship experience would be beneficial, but not essential.
