One of the subsidiaries of AMW Health Group, specializing in the sale of medical equipment, is seeking a Purchasing agent speaking native English to join our dynamic team. This position will report directly to the Commercial Director. We offer a permanent contract (CDI), with the role based at our headquarters in Mesnil-Saint-Denis (78), to be filled as soon as possible.
**Your Mission**: As a Buyer, you will be responsible for the procurement of endoscopy equipment, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our supply chain to support sales activities. You will play a key role in building strong relationships with suppliers worldwide.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Purchase of medical equipment and related supplies, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the logistics team to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Arrange transportation, ensuring the best rates.
- Analyse market trends and supplier performance to inform purchasing strategies.
- Work closely with sales and back office teams.
- Conduct supplier assessments and maintain a database of approved vendors.
- Present reports to management.
**Your Profile**:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in procurement, supply chain or similar, preferably in the medical sector.
- Minimum BAC+3 education level.
- Bilingual in English is a must, with strong written and verbal communication skills. A second language is appreciated.
- Excellent negotiation skills and hunter style.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Basic knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
- Strong sense of responsibility and motivation.
