Debt Capital Markets (DCM) is part of CIC Market Solutions Primary department, dedicated to capital market transactions for corporate and institutional clients. The DCM teams originate, structure and manage syndicated bond issues and private placements.
***Vos missions**

In this role, you will be responsible for:
Supervising market monitoring of the Cross Over / HY segment, and promote our knowledge and know-how to clients and coverage, maintaining enduring high quality of deliverables.

Managing relationships with clients, in collaboration with bankers notably based in France, Germany and the UK.

Managing relationships with internal teams involved in DCM operations including Coverage, syndication, legal, sales, market-making, compliance, ESG and structuring...

Managing and executing transactions with the entire bond chain. As deal captain on specific transactions you are the main point of contact externally and internally, taking the lead in key mandate management activities.

Initiating and coordinating all aspects of pitches to extend the customer base and strengthen ties with existing ones.

You work closely on a daily basis with your DCM colleagues, effectively covering clients through two-persons teams and supervising the contribution of juniors to work streams.

You collaborate with CIB's other specialized departments (acquisition finance, project finance, syndicated leverage loans, ECM, rating advisory, etc.) to share insights and opportunities

You are flexible enough to work alongside your DCM colleagues on Investment Grade & EuroPP transactions together with Crossover/HY projects

**Experience / Technical knowledge**

Previous experience (minimum 3 years) in a DCM HY origination team at an investment bank is required.

You are a fully skilled and autonomous with regards to the execution processes and legal & documentation aspects specific to the HY market.

You are a graduate of a business or engineering school, or have a university degree in finance.

Fluent written and spoken English, French required, German would be a plus
