THE ROLE
As a Pre-Contract Project Manager, you act as the link between the Group and the shipyards for our New Build requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and ensure a “pre-tender” long term relationship with main New buildings actors and/or partners
Develop and maintaining Outline Specification of specific type of Containerships in partnership with several shipyards
You keep track of potentials costs and delivery slots with the concerned shipyards
Maintain and develop shipyards pre-project audits
Develop a price estimation tool for Newbuilding vessels and maintain the database of quotation and market information
Participate in the establishment of NB standard together with Design Improvement Office
Ensure market intelligence of main competitors’ order book.

Ensure all your duties in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies
Propose a continuous performance improvement plan which will be reported and reviewed on a periodical basis
PROFILE & COMPETENCIES
Master’s degree in engineering or graduated from the merchant shipping school
At least 4 years' experience in a technical role in the naval industry, with knowledge of vessel construction
Fluent English, speaking French is highly recommended
Experience with Asian shipyards is appreciated
Ability to step back and built a long term vision, analytical skills, results oriented
Effective verbal, written and presentation skills, multi-tasking and organizational skills
Ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment
