**Financial Reporting Accountant**

You are in the early stages of your career and have acquired some experience in a similar role and are looking for the next step; a new career challenge at one of the largest P&C Insurers in the world with offices in over 54 countries?

You will be a key member of the Financial Accounting/Reporting team which is responsible for statutory and regulatory reporting, financial accounting and financial board reporting. The scope is primarily in respect of Chubb European Group SE (“CEG SE”), a regulated French insurer.

You will be based in Paris and will liaise closely with the general ledger processing team and other finance teams located in Glasgow, Paris and London.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- You are responsible for the preparation and maintenance of timetables and important metrics related to Solvency II financial reporting, ensuring that there is enough time for a proper management review and understanding of the figures
- You will prepare and deliver all operational aspects of the production of documents, to ensure the timely and accurate production of Solvency II financial information
- You manage and prepare process for the delivery of RSR and SFCR and will liaise with PwC on Solvency II issues and audits
- You have responsibility for supporting the Regulatory Reporting Accountant in building an environment of continuous improvement to ensure that all reporting is to the highest possible standard whilst meeting efficiency requirements
- You will produce written communications to Board and sub-committees (internal approval memos, judgement summary, SII updates etc)
- You will assist in the definition and documentation of the data mapping between the existing finance systems and solvency II systems.

**Required experience**:

- Qualified Accountant
- Post qualification experience
- Experience of the general insurance industry
- Strong Excel skills required with strong analytical skills for financial reporting and analysis
- Strong organisation and communication skills
