We are looking for a strategic and innovative global communication manager to join our Emergency Lighting team and lead all communication aspects. As a Global Communication Manager EML, you will be responsible for all communications at Global level, defining the communication plans, policies and standards, material, and content around Emergency Lightning, increase engagement internal and keep the employees informed, and increase awareness of the EML brand globally with internal / external stakeholders. Key focused areas: Internal / external communications, branding and events, product, solutions, segments, channels, and customer communications. **Location: Canada (Montreal), UK (Leeds), France (Piffonds), France (Chassieu), Germany (Berlin)**

Managing Director Emergency Lightning

**Your responsibilities**:

- Provides leadership and best practices in specific area of expertise, helping to define strategy and support implementation across the organization
- Builds a strong network across the Emergency Lighting Marketing and Communications community and coaches Marketing Communications Specialists in the countries to ensure alignment across the organization and transfer of best practices
- Develops and ensures a coherent, integrated communications strategy and brand positioning throughout the business as well as develops and recommends communications programs and messages including marketing communications, publicity, editorial support, web content, and direct marketing to educate and inform key stakeholders including customers, management, employees, general media, and interest groups
- Responsible for creating, planning and implementation of the global communication strategy, product marketing promotional strategy value proposition and tools
- Ensures executional excellence throughout the area of accountability for all communications measures in line with brand positioning and corporate identity/corporate design guidelines
- Develops media relations strategy for the businesses, coordinates and supervises media relations work for general press, in conjunction with Countries
- Serves as a consultant to the global business leadership team to ensure quick recognition of timely key communications opportunities and clear response to same and supports the business head and other key management with personal communications materials including presentations, speeches, articles, and employee recognition
- Provides management guidance and develops divisional messages to key events such as investor and employee meetings, in line with branding strategy

**Your background**:

- College or Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Business Administration, or relevant field
- Minimum of 5 plus years’ experience in a similar role, skilled in handling different stakeholder groups, including crisis issues and M&A as well as strong communication skills, well-organized and detail oriented
- Coaching of leaders in regards of communication skills
- Collaborative, solution-focused approach
- English speaking and writing a must, French speaking and writing a strong benefit
