**About the role**:
Are you passionate about electrical engineering and eager to kick-start your career in the maritime industry? We're looking for a **Junior Electrical Surveyor **to join our dynamic team in Saint-Nazaire, France

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in surveying new building vessel projects, learning from experienced team members every step of the way.
- Help ensure compliance with international regulations and classification rules in maritime electrical engineering.
- Solve engineering puzzles, including spotting and fixing integration issues in electrical and automation systems.
- Focus on electrical, automation, and navigation disciplines during the new building process, ensuring ships meet safety standards.
- Visit manufacturer facilities to check materials and components meet quality and safety standards.
- Work with project managers at shipyards to keep everything running smoothly.
- Chat with clients to give advice on rules and design aspects, building strong relationships.
- Use your engineering knowledge to solve problems that come up during projects.
- Team up with other departments to give clients the best possible service.

**About you**:

- Master degree in mechanical, mechatronics, electrical, marine engineering or comparable competence. Bachelor degree will be considered based on profile and experience
- Some experience in a maritime or related industry would be great, but not essential.
- Interest in instrumentation and control engineering in the maritime industry.
- Basic knowledge of ship electrical systems and automation.
- Passion for ships and shipbuilding, especially diesel-electric cruise vessels or ferries.
- Willingness to learn about safety standards and regulations in the maritime industry.
- Great problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate well (English required, French a plus).
- Ready to adapt to a fast-paced environment and eager to learn and grow.
