**Context**:
Axens Project Operations Business Division (POP) mission is to provide advanced technologies, basic engineering design, modular units design and technical services to its customers.

We are looking for an intern for POP Process and Equipment Departments

The Process Department work on basic engineering projects and Modular Units Projects development for our customers but also on new technologies development. The Equipment Department is in charge of the qualification of partners that can supply advanced equipment technologies.

In order to continuously improve the process offer, Axens is looking to implement the last advanced equipment solution in their process to **reduce CAPEX**, **energy consumption** and the associated **carbon emissions**. The goal is to look at the technological and economical relevance of these solutions.

**Tasks and activities**:
In close contact with both process design and supplier qualification teams, you will work on different key equipment of Axens technologies, main activities being
- About Separation system (drums, columns)

Consult various vendor to identify vessel design optimization, Evaluate the impact on CAPEX, validate selection criteria and determine the operating range for which the solution is economically relevant.
- About Rotating machines (pumps, compressors)

Brainstorm with vendors to identify operating conditions & services in which their technology can bring benefits, Prepare guidelines for consultations, Run CAPEX/ OPEX analysis, Identify criteria and operating range for which these solutions is economically relevant, prepare design guidelines associated to these new equipment.

**Profile**:

- Currently in your last year of engineer school specialized in Process/Chemical Engineering you are looking for a 5 to 6 months internship.
- You are looking for technical challenges, you are eager to learn and you are able to understand quickly new concepts.
- You work autonomously, set your own targets and report your progress and difficulties frequently.
- Advanced competences in Word, Excel.
- Fluent in English or in French, with good writing skills in English.
- Good team spirit, autonomous, organized, proactive.
