Who are we?

Born in 2021 out of a desire to make cities less polluted and less noisy, Electra is helping to shift usage towards electric mobility by tackling the main obstacle that is recharging.

Electra is constantly innovating to make recharging electric vehicles easier, with a network of fast recharging stations (20 minutes on average) and a user experience that's simplified to the max.

Based in Paris, Lyon, Bordeaux, Nantes, Brussels, Madrid, Zurich, Vienna, Munich, Milan and Amsterdam, Electra's teams aim to deploy a network of 15,000 fast charging points by 2030; proud to be part of Europe's energy transition.

- Deployed +440 stations and over 2000 fast-charging points
- Secured thousands of stations to establish Electra as a European market leader

**Your Missions**

To support our fast growth and growing European footprint, we’re looking for a **Head of Strategic Planning** to join our Finance team in Paris. Reporting to the CFO, you’ll play a key role in steering performance, shaping strategic decisions, and scaling our financial planning capabilities across all our geographies.

You’ll be a strategic sparring partner to leadership, while also building the processes, tools, and team that will support our next phase of growth.

‍️‍️ **Your Responsibilities**

**Strategic Planning & Business Partnering**
- Provide strategic insight and financial analysis to support executive and board-level decisions
- Own the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes across the group
- Develop forward-looking scenarios in various contexts, including equity, debt or M&A processes

**Financial support to strategic projects and cross-functional initiatives**
- Build and/or challenge investment cases in collaboration with business teams (important investment projects, new business lines, M&A, etc)
- Develop clear frameworks for investment decisions and ROI analysis
- Help the CFO assess capital allocation and cashflow optimization opportunities

**Team & Tools Development**
- Structure and scale planning and reporting processes to support our growth across 10+ European countries
- Manage and grow a high-performing FP&A team
- Drive the adoption of modern FP&A tools (BI tools; planning tools like Pigment or equivalent, etc)
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability of financial data in collaboration with the controlling, accounting and data teams

**Your Profile**
- You have 8+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, or consulting, with prior experience in a fast-growth environment.
- You have had prior exposure to the energy and/or infra sectors (e.g. EV, renewables, etc).
- You have a strong strategic mindset, but are also hands-on and comfortable building processes from scratch
- You thrive in a fast-moving environment, are solutions-oriented, and know how to prioritize what moves the needle
- You’re a confident communicator, able to challenge and influence at C-level
- You have excellent modeling (excel) and analytical skills; experience with data tools and/or modern FP&A tools is a plus
- You are fluent in English; French is a plus but not mandatory
