My English Sister is an English language learning and childcare agency based in Lyon. Our mission is to support the English language development of French children through fun and personalised tuition and childcare.

Each year we recruit a team of 20+ English brothers and sisters to work with French families in and around the city.

**Job Opportunity details**:

- Working with three children (aged 14, 12 and 9)
- Location: rue Duguesclin 69003 Lyon
- A mix of interactive childcare and fun English tuition (games, crafts, activities)
- Training and teaching materials provided

**Schedule**:
One or both days:

- Tuesday 16h45 - 18h45
- Wednesday 14h30 - 16h30

The sessions are held only during school term time. There will be no sessions during the following school holiday periods:

- 18ᵗʰ October - 2ⁿᵈ November
- 20ᵗʰ December - 5ᵗʰ January
- 7ᵗʰ February - 22ⁿᵈ February
- 4ᵗʰ April - 19ᵗʰ April

**Role Description**

On Tuesdays, pick up the children from school, walk them home, supervise snack time, and play together in English. Lead a fun game or activity to encourage language use. On Wednesdays, spend 20-30 minutes one-on-one with each child, tailoring activities to their age and interests. One child may attend an external activity while you stay at home with the other two, continuing English play and conversation in a relaxed, engaging environment.

What we are looking for:

- Fluent English speakers
- Aged 18+
- With knowledge of French (A2)
- Minimum 6 months childcare experience
- Teaching experience is a plus (but not essential)
