**The Global Sourcing and Procurement organization is looking for a global IDS Buyer
You will join the Global IDS Sourcing and Procurement team and will be based in Paris-Nanterre. You will work for a portfolio of global IDS contracts spanning several IDS domains and categories with the aim of developing existing or future partnerships with strategic Suppliers.

You will develop a close partnership with IDS managers to optimize IDS costs and secure the Group's interests.

Your role involves regular interactions with your key interfaces located in many geographic areas, and you will also need to help strengthen coordination with GSP teams in the regions.

**About the job
- Maintain a permanent commitment with current and future IDS projects and implement plans for sourcing and procurement in anticipation
- Manage the contract portfolio and achieve the optimization objectives set by GSP and IDS
- Ensure that purchases are made in accordance with the deadlines expressed by internal customers.
- Ensure compliance of internal procedures
- Participate in coordinating activities and managing team priorities
- Coordinate activities with the Operating Centers (OCs), particularly by maintaining a close and continuous relationship with GSP interlocutors in the OCs.

**Purchasing and Supply Management
- Needs analysis, definition of sourcing and management of requests for quotations
- Analyze the needs expressed by the IDS teams
- Optimize the use of existing agreements in priority, ensure market analysis, if necessary
- Determine the sourcing strategy linked to his/her manager
- Organize RFP and RFP request process
- Negotiation
- Conduct trade negotiations and support the IDS strategy of the categories in terms of cost model.
- Ensure regular communication and collaboration with internal contacts (Client, Finance) during all negotiation phases
- Challenge proposals and negotiate the best commercial terms
- Contract
- Conduct contractual discussions in collaboration with the Legal department.
- Manage discussions with the Supplier and identify risks
- Ensure regular communication and collaboration with internal interlocutors during all phases of contract implementation
- Purchase
- Anticipate on time the commitments renewal
- Check the consistency of the Purchase Order (PO) with the contractual terms and conditions
- Ensure the communication of PO to Suppliers
- Ensure the efficiency of the order process
- Communicate with the Supplier in case of questions/clarifications or disputes
- Cost savings
- Identify savings opportunities, discussing related action plans with your Manager
- Formalize savings in costs and benefits obtained during commercial and contractual phases

**Contract and management of the Supplier base
- Data Management
- Update the contracts list,
- Follow contractual milestones, manage priorities
- Supplier management
- Qualify Suppliers and Manage their list
- Evaluate Supplier performance in consultation with internal Customers
- Support IDS Domain Managers in Supplier relationships

**Compliance and Quality**
- Standardization
- Ensure the involvement of the Legal Department for all contractual activities
- Excellence
- Monitor compliance with the purchase order process
- Ensure that all IDS requirements are covered by a purchase order and that all purchase orders are supported by a contract
- Ensure timeliness in the POs issue and contracts renewal

**About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance, Business or related fields
- 2-5 Years’ Experience of working for similar position
- Successful experience in Sourcing and IDS Purchasing
- Desirable prior experience in IDS
- Expertise in IDS contracts required
- Computer skills (Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook)
- Experience in ERP, Oracle (GEOS)
- Disciplined, methodical and organized
- Strong aptitude for negotiation
- Strong communication skills, written and oral
- Agility required in priority management
- Ability to manage stress and good interpersonal skills
