**About the job Supplier Quality Engineer**: **Supplier Quality Engineer**: **Job Information**: - Responsible for maintaining and improving the product quality assurance processes and, when suppliers have difficulty to meet standards, set specifications and targets, Responsible for managing and supervising supplier defect management process. **Role & Responsibility**: **Supplier**: - Ensure that vendor reviews, audits and certification are efficiently performed; - Cover the administration of supplier defect reporting from containment; Cause identification, and propose and implement corrective action to recovery; - Continuous improvement of supplier capabilities, root cause analysis and mistake proofing; - Able to translate a production nonconformity into technical word per drawing and supplier need. **Problem solving**: - Investigate manufacturing/product risks and make recommendations to resolve and/or correct such problems; - Manage 8D tool; - Conduct design and implementation of appropriate correcting actions where necessary. **Operation**: - Acknowledge mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic machine systems; - Provides support for production quality technicians and engineers in suppliers related issues; - Maintains the administration of supplier defects; - Support operation and service to solve issues related with low supplier quality; - Ability to establish a measurement plan with appropriate tool. **Job Requirement**: - Education: Quality - Secondary School - Allow Equivalent - Certificate: Green Belt appreciated - Experience: 2>5 years - Travel: One Country) - Knowledge of quality tools, knowledge on parts validation process (PPAP and APQP, SPC, 8D) - Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing - French and English (ability to communicate with the shop floor and supplier) - MS Office package - Communication and team working skills - Knowledge on parts validation process (PPAP and APQP) **Decision-making Scope**: **Role Level**:Team Member **Direct Manager**: Quality Manager **Communication**: **Internal Shared** - Production - Sourcing - Aftermarket - Engineering - Supply Chain **External Divergent** - Suppliers **Others**: **Challenges & area of focus when carrying out job (position)**: - Ability to work on a team project basis; - Provide quality recommendations to impact on quality and cost of preliminary engineering designs;
