**_ Establish and develop the sourcing strategy_**
- Based on product / function needs in regard of Engineering / Manufacturing internal competences, identify / define the supplier competencies level needs for a product/function, a group of components or component development and manufacturing
- With Direct Purchasing precise the conditions of the cooperation with suppliers

**_ Ensure successful cooperation between internal Engineering and suppliers_**

For a given product/function, group of components or components:

- Ensure that Engineering provide complete functional specification to allow RFI/RFQ in development phase.
- Identify supplier level needed to support development.
- Launch the Simultaneous Engineering process in order to achieve the functional specification performance in compliance with the target cost.
- Ensure agreement between Engineering and Suppliers on product/function performance, control, feasibility and cost at each development phase.
- Identify the risk, propose way to find solutions and eventually escalate issues.

**_ Manage process and ensure continuous improvement_**
- Set-up the process of Simultaneous Engineering between Suppliers and Engineering for product/function, group of components, components for development
- Propose necessary process / organization adjustment.

**Qualification & Experience**

Bachelor/Master degree in Engineering, Business studies or equivalent

At least 10 years of experience in Purchasing / Engineering / Quality leadership in industrial context, expert in iron casting
