BU CDMO has over 1000 employees based in 7 sites located in Europe and the USA. It is a leading player in the fast-growing CDMO market (ADC, Omega3 ) with technology-driven differentiation such as chromatography, hazardous chemistry, cryogenic chemistry and flow chemistry
To support our development, we are looking for our site based in Pompey (10 min from Nancy, 54) and as a permanent contract, an:
**Operational Excellence Manager** M/F**
Under the responsibility of the Site Director, but also functionally attached to the PMO Group (Member of the ExCom), your main mission will be to help identify the performance improvement needs of our operational teams and support them in the deployment of Operational Excellence initiatives and projects.
Your main tasks will therefore be as follows:
- Working in the field, you will support managers and site teams through the implementation of performance improvement projects, introduce a performance-oriented perspective to challenge current situations and practices, identify areas of progress and opportunity and select and deploy tools and techniques that will accelerate the transformation process.
- Identify training needs in continuous improvement and with the support of the Group, develop the most appropriate means delivering programs that respond to those needs.
- Propose, explain, demonstrate and convince site team members in order to introduce new methodologies and approaches. Ensure that the implemented best practices become the new routines and are sustainable.
- Provide input and practical advice on a broad range of topics relating to Operational Excellence and that enable our staff to better manage change.
All of these approaches are part of the Operational Excellence Master Plan, which is defined at Group level.
**Qualifications**:
You have extensive Operational Experience in industrial or service companies.
You have a transversal vision of the different functions within companies and how they inter-relate having worked with many during your career. You are used to working in a matrix environment.
Organized and rigorous, you are a self-starter and are results orientated.
You have an established and successful track record in managing business transformation projects through all their phases from definition and launch, through implementation, to the achievement of the pre-defined objectives and making those objectives sustainable.
You are an Ambassador of keeping things simple and efficiency. Your empathy and your pragmatism, as well as your ability to work effectively within teams mean that you get things done and exemplify the culture of continuous improvement on our site. To do this you can call on practical knowledge and broad experience in the areas of Operational Excellence and Performance Improvement.
Knowledge of and experience in the Chemical/Pharma/Life Sciences sector, or other highly regulated industry, is an advantage.
You have a higher education degree or diploma BAC+4/ BAC+5.
You are IT proficient (Windows environment / Pack Office / Teams / Project, SAP)
A good level of oral and written English is required. While French is the day to day language of the site, English is the language of communication and consolidation across the Group.
This position benefits from the status of executive with an annual fixed number of days.
