**About the role**

To strengthen Carrier Refrigeration reputation and knowledge across the EMEA region, especially in Germany, France, UK, several countries in Africa and Middle East region, we are looking for a
**strong Press and Media specialist**.

**Responsibilities**

Below the responsibility of our EMEA Refrigeration Communications & Marketing Director, your role is to build and develop a new and strong relationship with journalists/media across the EMEA region:

- ** Manage press relations** on daily basis**: editorial schedule proposal (press/medias inquiries, customer cases, launch of new products and services, Customers events, ESG topics, top management interviews, portraits...), written press briefings releases, talking points, presentations.
- ** Strong leadership in the management of our variety Communications and PR agencies we** work with. You will be also in charge of tenders launch if necessary.
- ** Manage the budget** for your activity.
- Monitor the activity to make sure your actions are aligned with our EMEA and global communications policy. You will keep **track of KPIs for each initiative**.
- ** Work closely with our Customer engagement specialist** concerning all the events/trade shows/Digital events to mediatize and create media opportunities, before, during and after the events.
- ** Work closely with our EMEA Refrigeration **digital and social media **specialist** to create more and more presence within these channel.
- ** S**upport the business objectives** of Carrier EMEA Refrigeration through our two business entities: Carrier Commercial Refrigeration (CCR) and European Truck Trailer (ETT) in our main geographies Germany, France, UK, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa. With the objectives to develop our media presence in Middle East and Africa.
- Help shape key geographies for growth and brand recognition and reputation. Develop, continuously realign, and execute communications plans in support of Carrier Global and EMEA Refrigeration and Business Units’ objectives.
- Design and support effective communications to engage, connect and align employees in the EMEA region with the EMEA two business lines plans and priorities.
- Products and services promotion support. Create and update sales promotion material: digital or print product brochures, translations.
- Support local countries demands by offering pertinent and efficient solutions to reported issues or requests.
- Comply with all Carrier internal communications processes and guidelines

**Requirements**:
We are looking for a professional with 7/10 years of experience as a Media/Press and Communications specialist, acquired in an international environment, industrial will be a plus.

You are well versed in BtoB communications but very open to a more global customer approach. Customer engagement internally and externally is a key topic for us.

Fluent English is mandatory for this position, another language is required; German/French.

This position could require short national and international travel.

Anticipation, self-sufficiency, creativity, well organized, team spirit, challenge performer, and curiosity are necessary to perform in this position. Your excellent people skills will allow you to create lasting and fruitful partnerships. You can start from scratch and be enough organized and creative to develop a full communication plan whatever the kind of topic.

You have a strong knowledge of Power Point tool + Adobe pack.
