**Communications Director EMEA**

**Job description**

Based in our Rueil Malmaison offices, your main objective is to lead a team of 3 communications professionals to help develop and integrate strategies that help drive the business forward and reach target audiences.

You support the Refrigeration business unit senior leadership team to increase engagement and transparency with internal and external audiences.

You are accountable for the communication and marketing plans and tactics, which include earned media, product launches, industry events, marketing collaterals and advancing Carrier’s leadership position in the Healthy, Safe, Sustainable and Intelligent Cold Chain.

This position requires regular travel (20%) including international.

**Main responsibilities**
- Develop and implement fully integrated internal and external communication strategies that support the mission, vision, goals and objectives of the company.
- Set and manage priorities with stakeholders, drive team deadlines and accountability, communicate changes to stakeholders and ensure objectives and expectations are set and met.
- Manage the communications budget and coordinate with external agencies (Design, Press, Events )
- Promote key products and programs, including transport refrigeration electrification, the Lynx digital platform and BluEdge tiered-service offerings to advance Carrier’s leadership position
- Embrace The Carrier Way philosophy and build trust by fostering alignment and partnerships.
- Collaborate across functions and geographies to execute flawlessly under tight deadlines.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and counsel to senior business leaders and stakeholders by listening and providing credible expertise, relevant insights and transparent feedback.

**Requirements/Experience**
- Master’s degree in communications, marketing or business preferred
- Minimum 10 years of demonstrated success in communications and marketing, creating and leading internal and external communications channels within a complex business environment.
- The ability to work with urgent deadlines, changing priorities, and to manage multiple high-priority assignments simultaneously, in a professional manner.
- Self-motivation and the ability to take initiative, but also to be a strong team player.
- Experience providing strategic counsel to senior leadership and. crisis management.
- Manage and develop a team of communication professionals. Must have strong writing, editing, organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated creativity and understanding of social media, digital marketing and production / post-production techniques.
- Proficiency in applicable software packages, including Microsoft Office.
- Experience managing budgets to continually assess performance and taking actions to improve results.
