**Job description**:
**Overall job definition**:
As Environmental & Safety Manager in the Test Lab, you will play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance, safety and quality of the tests performed on our products. Your main responsibility will be to supervise and coordinate all environmental, health and safety activities within the Test Lab.

**Main missions**:

- ** Management of laboratory operations**: You will supervise and organize the daily activities of the testing laboratory. You will ensure that all necessary equipment is in good working order and that testing procedures are correctly followed.
- ** Regulatory compliance**: You will ensure that the laboratory complies with all applicable environmental, safety and health regulations. This may include managing the permits and licenses required for laboratory operations.
- ** Workplace safety**: You will be responsible for implementing and monitoring safety measures within the laboratory. You will be responsible for ensuring that all laboratory personnel follow appropriate safety protocols and have the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).
- ** Waste management**: You will oversee the proper management of waste generated by laboratory activities. This may involve sorting, storage and disposal in accordance with environmental standards.
- ** Data analysis**: You will review and analyze test data generated by the laboratory to ensure the reliability and validity of results.
- Staff training: You will ensure that laboratory staff are trained in testing procedures, safety and good environmental practice.
- ** Interdepartmental collaboration**: You will work closely with other departments such as R&D, Production and Quality to ensure effective communication of test results and resolution of problems.
- This position is crucial to guarantee the quality, safety and environmental compliance of our electric batteries. As a Test Lab Environmental & Safety Manager, you will contribute directly to the efficiency and reliability of our products, while protecting the environment and the health of our staff.

**Profile**:
**Qualification**:

- You have a university degree in a relevant field (chemistry, chemical engineering, environment, safety, etc.).

**Experience**:

- You have significant experience in laboratory management, preferably in an industrial environment.
- You have a thorough knowledge of environmental, safety and health regulations related to laboratory operations.
