**Position Summary**
Plug Power Inc. is actively seeking a highly motivated Intern. The Intern will be responsible for assisting the team in a wide variety of initiatives and projects in support of the department’s projects. In this role, you will gain exposure to a fast-paced manufacturing and engineering environment which includes developing a detailed understanding of Plug Power’s products. The role will focus on the successful completion of technical projects, process improvement, documentation, and presentation of results at the end of the program.
**Core Duties and Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of all Plug Power products
- Work with senior level engineers and management to interpret and analyze data
- Assist in developing engineering processes with guidance from senior level engineers and management
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to sufficiently make minor repairs as necessary
- Ability to independently set up experiments and monitor progress
- Ability to critically analyze data in terms of system performance and reliability
- Represent Plug Power in a professional manner at all times and in all interactions
- Perform all other duties as assigned
**Education and Qualification**
- Pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in (state disciplines)
- Prior Internship or Co-op experience preferred
- Must have reliable transportation to the office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Background/experience with statistical analysis
- Possess solid hands-on approach to problem-solving
- Computer and software systems skills as applicable to position including but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively
- Demonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detail
- Excellent follow-through
- Must be driven and self-motivated
- Must possess the highest ethical standards and a commitment to work quality
