**About Pasqal**

PASQAL designs and develops Quantum Processing Units (QPUs) and associated software tools.
In addition to the exceptional computing power they provide, QPUs are highly energy efficient and will contribute to a significant reduction in the carbon footprint of the HPC industry.

PASQAL is building and developing Quantum Processing Units (QPUs) enabling highly performant computation using neutral atoms manipulated with lasers. On the hardware level, the complexity,of the setup makes this journey unique and interesting. In the Domain department, we develop knowledge and expertise on key fields of activities that are at the heart of PASQAL's processors, namely building of qubit registers, processing between qubits, and quantum controls.

Main responsibilities:

- Contribute to company governance through involvement in Management Committee and Hardware committees.
- Ensure coherence of roadmaps with strategic and tactical choices of the company.
- Lead the implementation of hardware roadmaps on the department perimeter (register of qubits, quantum processing, real implementation and quantum controls.
- Manage the Domain department (budget, reporting, communication,...).
- Operational management of team leaders, including recruitment if needed.
- Represent the company to its various stakeholders (investors, customers, partners)
- Identify, initiate and follow strategic partnerships (suppliers, academics,...) relevant to develop department topics.

**About you**

Hard skills:

- Knowledge in experimental physics and quantum physics (AMO experience would be

appreciated)
- Basis on programming skills for data analysis and simulations (Python,...).
- Experience in managing R&D teams.

Soft skills:

- Autonomy, rigor and organization.
- Communication and listening skills.
- Leadership.
- Proven ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams (Theory, Experimental).
- Good level of written and spoken English. French is a plus but not required.
