**The team you'll be part of**

Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

You will be part of the Baseband and Soc Development Unit, in charge of developing the NOKIA base stations to be used for future 6G cellular networks.

The activities performed by the electro-mechanical development team cover the following areas: Placement and routing of printed circuit boards, development of mechanical parts, management of technical files and component libraries, as well as modelling and thermal simulations.

**What you will learn and contribute to**
- You will be responsible for the electro-mechanical development team in charge of defining and developing the mechanical parts of the products in collaboration with the team responsible for the electronic design, in order to meet the specifications (physical constraints of heat dissipation, mechanical resistance, electromagnetic protection, cost and industrialization).
- You will manage this team (recruitment, support and follow-up of engineers and technicians, development of their skills, allocation of missions, etc )
- You will interact with the other teams and their managers within the BB&SoC organization in France and in other countries in Europe, China and North America.
- You will lead the development and modeling in the CAD environment of the mechanical solutions in interaction with the electronic engineers and you will simulate the mechanical constraints.
- Your team will be responsible for drafting project documentation (technical files, detail and assembly drawings, parts lists, assembly analysis, etc )
- You will be responsible for the timely execution of the projects and the HW quality of the products.

**Your skills and experience**

You are a graduate mechanical engineer with at least 10 years of successful experience in development in a mechanical design office. In addition:

- You have a good knowledge of part production techniques (fine sheet metal work, thermoplastic and aluminium injection) as well as electronic environments (thermal and electromagnetic constraints).
- You are familiar with the ProEngineer CREO CAD development chain.
- You are rigourous, have a strong sense of responsibility and know how to control your communication,
- Curious, autonomous and proactive, you demonstrate a good sense of analysis and synthesis and a good capacity for anticipation.
- You are rigorous and communicate well in an international environment
- You speak French and English fluently
- Knowledge of thermal and RDM simulation tools would be a plus.
