Principles

In the framework of its CO2 Neutrality roadmap, Faurecia will have to change the way to develop, procure, produce, distribute, and dispose its products. We already made a global model for our carbon trajectory up to 2045, taking into account the evolution of our products, so consequently the evolution of our purchased goods, the changes in the logistics, the evolution in the sold vehicle mix and the penetration of zero emission vehicles, and all the other factors which contributes to our carbon emissions. But this trajectory needs to be revised / adapted considering the inventory already calculated on the real data for the last years, and all the evolution of the hypothesis of the current forecasted trajectory (material emissions factors, growth of the company, light vehicles & commercial vehicle market,).

We are looking for an intern for Carbon neutrality trajectory to join our team

Our Sustainability activity is looking for a Carbon Neutrality trajectory intern based in the Headquarters in Nanterre.
Part of the activity might happen in a “work from home” mode: the intern needs to demonstrate appropriate equipment and connectivity to this end.
The intern will report to the Life Cycle Director.

**Your mission, roles and responsibilities**:
You will be working on challenges that matter

Your missions:
Managing Emission Factors
Help to collect, and interact with the appropriate functions (purchasing, logistics, sales, marketing) to size the evolution of the various CO2e emissions factors evolution into coming years, up to 2045.
Trajectory calculation & modeling
Understand how the calculation of the carbon footprint is done (following Green House Gases - GHG protocol), and calculate accordingly the carbon emissions evolution for the company, for all the scopes of the GHG. Make a parametric model of this trajectory.
Analyze the most impactful factors and propose improvement ideas
Based on a sensitivity analysis, identify the most impactful factors / scopes, their criticality, and propose improvement ideas.

The intern will have a good sensitivity to energy/resources management and environment protection.
He/she needs to be literate in usual computer tools, like HTML, Excel & Microsoft Office suite.
