Air Freight Forwarding Coordinator

We are seeking an Airfreight Forwarding Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic operations team. In this role, you will handle client requests, analyze and recommend optimal delivery options, cost out these options, and ensure that all transportation requirements are fulfilled to meet the agreed deadlines. You will work closely with our partners in Germany and across Europe to provide seamless door-to-door service, overseeing every step of the process from start to finish.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Client Interaction**:Take and manage requests from clients, thoroughly understanding their requirements.
- **Delivery Analysis**: Analyze available delivery options, providing clients with clear and detailed recommendations based on cost, timing, and efficiency.
- **Costing and Timings**: Accurately calculate delivery costs and timings for each option, ensuring they align with client expectations.
- **Communication**: Clearly communicate delivery plans and schedules to clients, offering professional guidance throughout the decision-making process.
- **Transportation Arrangements**: Once the client approves the proposed plan, take responsibility for organizing the necessary transportation to meet the agreed-upon deadlines.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with partners worldwide and other offices across Europe to coordinate and monitor the transportation process.
- **Tracking and Monitoring**: Ensure end-to-end monitoring of each delivery, tracking shipments from door to door to guarantee timely and successful deliveries.
- **Problem-Solving**: Address any issues or delays that arise during the transportation process, proactively providing solutions to minimize disruptions.

**Your profile**:
We are looking for someone with:

- 5+ years of experience in air transport services, with a strong understanding of industry best practices. 1 year experience in a 3PL company
- Experience in managing the IATA certification
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively..
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, shippers, and carriers, ensuring clear and concise information exchange.
- Familiarity with various transportation methods, including dedicated aircraft and helicopter charters, on-board courier services, and express airfreight, to provide comprehensive solutions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to cost and assess different transportation options.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset with a customer-focused approach.
