**N.C.C: F12**
Global Operations Finance Department’s mission is to measure and manage the industrial performance of all the Essilor group's lens factories (production of Finished and Semi-Finished lenses, prescription laboratories, transitions, sun lenses), and to monitor and understand the COGS of the group's lenses business, i.e. € 2.3bn.
Under the responsibility of the Group Operations Controlling Director, the Innovation Lenses Controller consolidate Worldwide costs of Global Lenses Innovation Worldwide (about 250m€ budget and +/- 2000 people), and takes charge of the following missions:
- Report Total Innovation Lenses costs (Lens clear businesses such as GLI and IP but also Shamir, Nikon and other businesses incurring costs in Essilor sub scope R&D Line like Instruments, Equipment, Transition, etc.) on headcount, Opex, Capex & Taxonomy
- Liaison with Innovation Frame controller on Group intangible project accounting, reporting and estimate
- Report in Atome (WW Global Ops finance reporting tool) data for the GLI location not interfaced with Atome (China GLI & Singapore GLI) for headcount and costs;
- Supervise WW GLI expenses consolidation: prepare WW budgets and forecasts and compare to WW actual and report to GLI manager on headcount, Opex and Capex;
- Supervise and define internal invoicing flows related to Innovation lenses;
- Ad hoc projects reporting for GLI: define reporting strategy and reporting of financed R&D projects (with EU, BPI and other financing institutions);
- Being the privileged interlocutor of the management and operational staff of GLI;
- Cost controlling of IP costs and CIR (French Research Tax Credit);
- Innovation Tax primary interlocutor for any tax topic like (Essilor patent box, CIR taskforce), estimate and supervise calculation of CIR yearly amounts;
- Design and contribute to all transversal projects of the GLI finance functions: Atlas time tracking tool valuation (standard costs of GLI resources WW by location & resource type), Atlas external studies reporting, R&D costs inclusion in DOP.
