- The International School of Monaco (ISM) is seeking a passionate and talented Artist in Residence (Drama) to join its dynamic Performing Arts Department for the 2025-2026 academic year. This is a unique opportunity for a theatre practitioner or drama educator to make a meaningful impact in an international, innovative, and collaborative school environment.

The role is designed to support and enrich the school’s drama and musical theatre offerings through creative input, classroom support, and involvement in co-curricular and production activities. It is particularly well-suited to an early
- or mid-career artist looking to deepen their educational practice while contributing to the life of a thriving international school community.As Artist in Residence (Drama), you will:
Work in close collaboration with the Primary Performing Arts teacher and Secondary Drama teacher, under the direction of the Director of Performing Arts.Support the Drama and Musical Theatre Primary ECA through team teaching across a range of year levels.Contribute creatively to the development and delivery of drama, musical theatre, and singing workshops, rehearsals, and performance projects.Assist in major school productions, with the possibility to direct, devise, or support technical or dramaturgical aspects.Lead or assist with Extra-Curricular Activities (ECAs) such as drama clubs, musical theatre ensembles, improvisation sessions, or backstage theatre activities.Collaborate on interdisciplinary projects within the Performing Arts department.Contribute to the school’s wider cultural and artistic programme through events, showcases, and community engagement.**Requirements**:

Degree or equivalent professional experience in Drama, Theatre Arts, Performing Arts, or Musical Theatre.Proven experience in theatre-making, directing, acting, singing, or drama education.Passion for working with young people in both primary and secondary educational settings.Excellent communication, adaptability, and collaborative skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative, international environment.EU passport (mandatory due to employment regulations).**Desirable**:

Experience in international or cross-cultural education environments.French language skills - a significant advantage in our bilingual school community.Background in Dance or movement-based practice is an asset.Additional skills such as technical theatre, playwriting, physical theatre, vocal coaching, musical theatre or stage management are an advantage.***:
