Founded in 2014 by Jerome Jacques Marie Mage, Jacques Marie Mage is a Los Angeles-based producer of limited-edition designer goods specializing in the micro-production of luxury eyewear for a clientele of discerning tastes.
With each new collection, JMM embraces a unique palette of precious materials, rich colors, and striking geometric forms, which cleverly reference and beautifully reconfigure the striking individuals, artistic movements, and world events of previous centuries. **Role Overview**:
The Jacques Marie Mage Jewelry Manager is responsible for leading a high-performing team, delivering an exceptional client experience, and overseeing all aspects of store operations in alignment with the brand's luxury heritage and craftsmanship. In this role, you will represent the Jacques Marie Mage brand on the sales floor, engaging clients with personalized service that reflects the brand’s identity. Working alongside the Retail Director, you will manage store operations, sales targets, and jewelry services, ensuring the gallery meets its business goals while upholding the highest standards of service and aesthetics.

**Jewelry Sales & Client Care**:
- Lead and manage all jewelry sales activities, providing expert consultations and ensuring the highest level of personalized care for each client.- Oversee the accurate customization, repair services, and delivery of jewelry products, ensuring client satisfaction and timely execution.- Serve as the main point of contact for clients seeking luxury jewelry, offering expert advice on collections, custom pieces, and fine jewelry care.
- Elevate and nurture client relationships to drive retention and repeat business, focusing on building trust and delivering exceptional experiences.
**Performance & Sales for Jewelry Services**:
- Drive sales for all jewelry products and services, including bespoke pieces and high-end collections, while maintaining the brand’s luxury standards.- Ensure the team consistently achieves key sales metrics, including appointment bookings, jewelry sales, and repeat business.- Conduct strategic business analysis and provide regular reporting on jewelry sales performance to optimize results and identify growth opportunities.
- Establish and build a loyal client base through recruitment and networking efforts.
**Operational Excellence in Jewelry Services**:
- Ensure all jewelry tools, equipment, and displays are maintained, adhering to industry standards and ensuring the gallery’s aesthetic aligns with Jacques Marie Mage’s luxury brand.- Manage inventory of jewelry collections, tools, and accessories, ensuring stock levels meet client demand and support sales goals.
- Oversee all operational aspects of the jewelry department, including scheduling, payroll, and managing sales associate and jeweler staff schedules.
**Team Development & Training**:
- Train and mentor the sales team on jewelry product knowledge, client interaction, and best practices for luxury retail service.- Foster a culture of excellence and collaboration within the team to drive performance and client satisfaction.- Identify key areas for the professional development of the team, providing coaching to enhance their skills and expertise.
- Ensure the team consistently represents Jacques Marie Mage as brand ambassadors, with a deep understanding of both jewelry products and brand storytelling.
- Key Requirements:_- 3-5 years of experience in a high-end or luxury retail environment, preferably in jewelry services.- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Shopify, with the ability to analyze sales data, manage inventory, and generate performance reports.- Impeccable speaking and communication skills, capable of delivering clear and effective communication to both clients and team members.- Entrepreneurial spirit and a strong mentorship mentality, with a proactive approach to leadership and team development.- Experience in a client-based business model, with a focus on building relationships, client retention, and sales growth.- Certification or training in gemology or jewelry design is a plus.
