**Company Description**

The Garden Academy is an innovative English immersion school for children located in Paris, with schools in the 15th, 7th, and 5th. We offer a bilingual preschool/kindergarten for children aged 2 to 5 and a fully immersive English after-school program for children aged 3 to 10. Through both of these programs, we encourage children to be active participants in their learning journey, using experimentation, play, and intrinsic motivation to encourage children to use English through a range of disciplines, including arts, music, STEM, and more. Our native and first-language English-speaking education team specializes in positive education, creating a space where children gain resilience and a love of learning in harmony with their personal development and environment.

**Our school program**:
The teaching team welcomes students using a unique pedagogical approach inspired by the methods of Maria Montessori (autonomous workshops), Freinet (experimental trial and error, individualized learning), Reggio Emilia (cooperative pedagogy, project pedagogy) and the American STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) approach. The combined aim is to constantly adapt to the needs of the child while also respecting their individuality.

**Role Description**

This is a full-time on-site role for an English Preschool Teacher at The Garden Academy. This class is taught entirely in English, with children aged between 2 and 3 years old. The teacher will be responsible for planning educational activities in English, supporting and developing the children’s social and emotional skills and supporting and encouraging their independence.

**Qualifications**
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification

**Experience**
- Teaching and education experience in the early years, especially the 2-3 years old
- Lesson planning and classroom management skills
- Ability to monitor and evaluate children’s progress throughout the year and adapt the activities to a variety of levels, responding to their individual needs
- Experience in a ‘creche’ or daycare setting is an advantage
- Experience with positive education & communication is an advantage

- Passionate about working with children
- Possesses a good sense of teamwork and is flexible to the changes that can arise
- Good organisational skills
- Based in Paris
- Valid visa to work in France

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 2,200.00€ - 2,500.00€ per month

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week
